Dog Cottage, your home for the length of your stay. At Lazy Dog you get all the
privacy and independence of a self-catering cottage, but you’ll find that we’ve
done most of the shopping. Add to that the luxuries you’d associate with
a good hotel and you’ll want to return year after year for the ultimate relaxing
break.
Lazy Dog is situated in
Paul Street; a flagstone street in a car-free conservation area in one
of the oldest parts of Frome. The back of Lazy Dog Cottage overlooks
Catherine Hill, a
cobbled street dating back to the middle-ages, now home to many
individual shops. Once on the main
stagecoach route out of Frome,
Paul Street is too narrow for today’s
cars, which makes it surprisingly peaceful considering its
central location. All the amenities of Frome are
within easy walking distance so if you wish, you can forget the
car completely.
