Lazy Dog
is situated in Paul Street; a flagstone street in a car-free
conservation area in one of the oldest parts of Frome. The back
of Lazy Dog Cottage overlooks
Catherine Hill, a
cobbled street dating back to the middle-ages, now home to many
individual shops. Once on the main stagecoach route out of
Frome,
Paul Street is too narrow for today’s
cars, which makes it surprisingly peaceful considering its
central location. All the amenities of Frome are within easy
walking distance so if you wish, you can forget the car
completely.
